Contribution Policy
This sample Contribution Policy provides a template for organizations that wish to develop parameters for this area.
THE ORGANIZATION is a public charity. It relies on voluntary contributions and program-related investments from foundations, individuals and businesses, including in-kind donations that further its charitable purposes.
THE ORGANIZATION accepts restricted contributions only for education, research, and training programs that clearly further its charitable purposes. It does not fund or sponsor contract research for the specific benefit of any donor or industry, nor does it allow any donor organization to dictate THE ORGANIZATION policies, programs, or event content. Any contribution that benefits, or appears to benefit, a specific donor or industry will be refused or returned.
THE ORGANIZATION does not accept government funding of any kind.
All contributions to THE ORGANIZATION will be disclosed in accordance with the Internal Revenue Code.
