TOP STORY: SCHOOL CHOICE PROPOSAL PASSES IN LOUISIANA

A $10 million voucher program passed the Louisiana Senate on June 11th and is expected to be signed into law by Governor Bobby Jindal.  The proposal would allow up to 1,500 low-income New Orleans students to attend the private school of their choice.  To read more about the proposal, click here.
