We've all heard it before: "Climate change is a scientific consensus."All too often this catchline is used to thwart a real debate about anthropogenic global warming.

Ronald Bailey, from Reason, tackles the credibility of the "scientific consensus" head on in his article, Scientific Consensus Redux. By giving examples of scientific consensuses in the past that turned out wrong, he illustrates the fallibility such claims.
