Jennifer Butler

As Executive Vice President of the State Policy Network, Jennifer Butler is responsible for the organization’s planning and operations. This includes the development and implementation of the strategic plan and assisting the president in the coordination of core programs that support state-based market-oriented think tanks. Ms. Butler has over 12 years experience in the public policy arena and running issue campaigns. Prior to joining SPN, she served as Vice President of Government Affairs for the Realtors Association of the Palm Beaches, a 10,500 member real estate related trade organization in South Florida. She was an advocate for policies that advanced homeownership opportunities and private property rights. She has also lobbied on issues related to the restaurant industry, prison privatization and health care. Ms. Butler earned her undergraduate in Political Science from Florida State University and her graduate degree in Public Administration, with an emphasis in Administrative Law, from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon.

Ms. Butler lives in West Palm Beach, Florida with her husband and two dogs. She is very involved with several South Florida charitable organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, West Palm 100 and her church’s international mission board.
