Nicole Williams

In addition to raising chickens and vegetables on a small Tennessee farm (an excellent tax-saving measure in times of economic crisis hysteria), SPN Management & Technology Advisor Nicole Williams seeks to raise awareness and appreciation for the ideals of liberty, freedom and self-reliance. Her experiences in the policy world and adventures on the farm occasionally inspire Nicole to write up do-it-yourself country-living tips and ideas for government regulatory reform on Examiner.com.

Past life experiences include serving as the VP of Operations for the Tennessee Center for Policy Research and the director of the Children's Scholarship Fund - Portland at Cascade Policy Institute. Nicole also headed a private language school, designed online language translation reseller program nationwide, and founded a consulting firm that provided business and cultural training for foreign companies interested such as DaimlerChrysler and QSI International.

She has spoken at conferences including the Atlas Economic Research Foundation's Think Tank MBA and the Liberty Forum, online at NewMediaTV.org, and at SPN Leadership Development Breakfasts and Annual Meetings. Nicole writes for SPN News and has been published in the Oregonian and Boise Voice.

Nicole graduated from Southern Oregon University with a Bachelor of Arts in music business and German. She also completed the Oregon Teaching Certification Program at the University.

About SPN

State Policy Network is made up of free market think tanks - at least one in every state - fighting to limit government and advance market-friendly public policy at the state and local levels. SPN and our members make the Founders' vision for the American Republic a reality as the nation's only 50-state distribution network for market-oriented public policy ideas. Our programs advance and defend American liberty and free enterprise by assisting new start-up organizations, growing existing state think tanks, recruiting talent to the think tank industry, developing strategic partnerships, and promoting the free-market state movement.
