Nicole Williams

In February 2005, Nicole Williams co-founded Total Consulting Strategies (TCS). During 2005, she provided significant assistance to SPN member the Tennessee Center for Policy Research and now serves as its part time VP of Operations. In 2006, under the auspices of TCS, she accepted a contract with State Policy Network to work as its part-time Management & Technology Advisor.

Previously, Nicole served as the director of the Children’s Scholarship Fund – Portland (CSF-P), a private scholarship program facilitated by SPN member Cascade Policy Institute (Oregon). CSF-P’s annual budget was $500,000. She also served simultaneously as Cascade’s Director of Publications.

Prior to Cascade, Nicole headed a private language school, first as its manager, then the Director at The Language Company in Portland, Oregon. She founded a consulting firm that provides business and cultural research and education for foreign companies interested in marketing products and services in the US. Nicole designed and implemented a translation reseller program nationwide for viaLanguage.

Nicole writes and presents business and cultural seminars for international corporations such as DaimlerChrysler, is safety chair of the Boise Neighborhood Association, chairs the Northeast Coalition of Neighborhoods’ (NECN) Public Safety Action Committee, and serves on the NECN Executive Board. She also leads and performs in a local rock band, Sauce. Nicole graduated from Southern Oregon University with a Bachelor of Arts in music business and German. She also completed the Oregon Teaching Certification Program at the university.
