Patrick McDougal

Patrick McDougal is Manager of Operations for the State Policy Network. He is responsible for providing service and support to members by leading the execution of programs and projects from SPN's DC-metro area offices.

Prior to joining SPN in 2002, Mr. McDougal worked in the Targeted Assistance Program of Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area Refugee and Immigrant Services.

Mr. McDougal enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves in 1995 as a Psychological Operations Specialist. He deployed to Bosnia-Herzegovina 1999-2000 in support of Operation Joint Forge. He has deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom twice, first in 2003 and again in 2006-2007. Mr. McDougal continues to serve in the U.S. Army Reserves, where he holds the rank of Sergeant First Class.

Mr. McDougal attended the Defense Language Institute in where he completed the Persian Farsi Basic program in 1997, and he received his Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Studies from George Mason University in 2001.

Patrick McDougal lives in Arlington, Virginia, with his wife.
