Erica Mitchell started at SPN in 2008 as its website and administrative assistant. Her duties include coordinating SPN.org, scheduling NewMediaTV.org and office tasks. Before joining SPN, she worked as a personal assistant at Total Consulting Strategies.

Erica got her start in the professional world with her discerning palate for coffee, which transitioned into a barista position at Starbucks first in St. Charles, Illinois then in Portland, Oregon. During her time at Starbucks, she also volunteered at women's battered shelters as well as assisted addiction counselors in group therapy. This attention to detail has given Erica the tools she needs to navigate the ins and outs of the free market think tank world.

In her spare time, Erica is working on a book on modern feminism and enjoys outdoor activities.
